As many of you will know, 1st team player Mark Booth has been seriously ill recently. Following a football injury where Mark broke his leg and damaged ligaments in his ankle, he developed a blood clot on his lung.

Mark has spent the last couple of weeks in intensive care at Calderdale Hospital in Halifax. The club is pleased to report Mark's condition is now improving and he is no longer in intensive care. Mark remains in hospital however and has been moved on to the wards.

The clubs best wishes have be passed on to Mark and his family and as you are aware a card has been handed round the senior squad for signing. I am planning to see visit Mark in hospital this week.
