The first fixture against Pool showed BRCC Ladies we still have a lot to learn - and whilst there were some encouraging signs - Pool Puma's Ladies - a team with lots of experience in the White Rose League and riddled with county players gave BRCC a lesson in the all round game.
On a difficult night weather wise, Pool batted first and ended with 125 for 1. This was always likely to stretch a team starting out and so it was proved. BRCC were all out for 38.
Pool won by 87 runs.
Lots to think about and lots to work on. This will be one of the toughest fixtures we face in the season and we know we can perform much better. There will be hard work in practice this week.
